PERFORMER

PERFORMER_ research laboratory

What is a performer? What is its task?

This workshop was born from the meeting between Massimiliano Balduzzi and Francesco M. Laterza and from the desire to share some tools to try to answer these questions.

An exploration of the principles of the work of the scene such as movement, voice, listening and the relationship with space and with the other, to investigate an uncertain territory between performance, dance and theater with renewed sensitivity.

A research open to the creative capacity of each participant, aimed at actors and actresses, dancers, performers and those who want to approach the universe of live arts and deepen the awareness of their body in action.

We think of this meeting as the first movement of an ongoing journey that will take shape around the needs of the participants.

What is a performer? Which is their task?

The workshop originates from the encounter between Massimiliano Balduzzi and Francesco M. Laterza and their desire to share some tools that would help to answer these questions.

An exploration of the principles of the work on stage such as movement, voice, the ability to listen, the relationship with the space and with each other. An investigation of an uncertain territory between theatre, dance and performance with improved sensibility.

A research that will pay attention to the participant's creative ability, an open call for actors and actresses, dancers, performers and for those who want to get closer to the universe of live arts and deepen their awareness of the body in action.

We imagine this meeting as the first step of a continuous path that will take shape around the needs of the participants.
