TEN GREAT MOVIES TEN GREAT NOVELS THAT HAVE GONE INTO HISTORY

TEN GREAT MOVIES TEN GREAT NOVELS THAT HAVE GONE INTO HISTORY

TEN GREAT MOVIES TEN GREAT NOVELS THAT HAVE GONE INTO HISTORY
From literature to Italian cinema in the 1900s.
edited by Mino Francesco Manni

The workshop is born from the need to tell our country through the great art of extraordinary directors and writers who still represent the highest peak of Italian cinema and literature.
The goal of the laboratory is to find a way, a cultural path that can get us out of the obscurantism of these years and find an ethical, social and civil hope through the discovery and deepening of films and novels forgotten by too long time or little broadcast from our Tv shows.
We will make a wonderful journey into the themes, the contents, the lives of immense and unforgettable directors such as Elio Petri, Alberto Lattuada, Vittorio De Sica, Luchino Visconti, Pietro Germi, of actors such as Vittorio Gassman , Marcello Mastroianni, Alberto Sordi, Giancarlo Giannini, Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale, inside the great novels of authors such as Moravia, Sciascia, Bassani, Gadda etc. etc.
There will then be a deepening of the scenic reading through a few pages of the aforementioned novels where the students of the Laboratory, under my direction, will be able to test themselves, experiment and read some pieces of masterpieces that have made us known in the world and that still speak so much today about us, about our present and, in some way, about our future.

The meetings will take place from 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
The following calendar will follow:

March 7, 2020
CIOCIARA De Sica/Moravia

March 14, 2020
WOMAN Risi/Arpino PROFUMO ( 1974)

March 21, 2020
A MAN of Germi/Gadda (1959)

28th March 2020
The INNOCENT Visconti/D'Annunzio (1976)

4th April 2020
CRONACA FAMILIARE Zurlini/Pratolini

19 thof1st April 19, 2020
BUBE Comencini/Cassola (1964)

May 9, 2020
VENGA TO TAKE THE CAFFE' FROM US Lattuada/Chiara (1970)

May 23, 2020 THE LONG NIGHT OF 43 Vancini/ Bassani (1960)

May 30, 2020
VIGEVANO Petri/Mastronardi (1963)

May 31, 2020
OPEN PORTE Amelio/Sciascia (1990)

LUOGO: Space Lambrate.
